This website uses Google Tag Manager. This service allows website tags to be managed via an interface. The Google Tool Manager only implements tags. This means that no cookies are used and no personal data is collected. The Google Tool Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, the Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at domain or cookie level, it will remain in place for all tracking tags if they are implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated programme. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website by the website visitor or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.

The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its website from abusive automated spying and SPAM.

Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy can be found at the following links:

https://www.google.com/ and https://www.google.com/.

Facebook Pixel

Our websites use the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to measure conversions.

This allows the behaviour of site visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimised.

The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of our websites; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This enables Facebook to place adverts on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the site operator.

You can find further information on protecting your privacy in Facebook’s privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/.

You can also deactivate the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the settings for adverts at https://www.facebook.com/. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: https://www.youronlinechoices.com

LinkedIn

Our websites use the LinkedIn Insight tag from LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”) for conversion measurement and retargeting measures.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag supports LinkedIn Conversion Tracking, which is a retargeting and analysis tool. The Insight Tag causes a cookie to be generated and stored in the visitor’s web browser when they visit our website. This tag is integrated on our website and enables the collection of data such as IP address, the time this website was accessed or the recording of defined events (such as downloads or page views). In addition, users can be shown interest-specific and relevant offers and recommendations in relation to services offered by us. LinkedIn also compiles statistics with aggregated data about the use of and visits to our website. If a user is a LinkedIn member, demographic data such as location can also be collected. The cookie generated and stored by the tag in the browser remains there until it is manually deleted by the user or automatically deleted after the Insight Tag has been loaded for the last time.

Visitors can change the storage of cookies via the web browser settings. Alternatively, users can specifically object to LinkedIn Conversion Tracking by setting an opt-out cookie that remains on the device until the user deletes the cookies. Users can deactivate the LinkedIn Insight tag via the following link.
